Recovery Events

We did not get sick by ourselves, and we do not heal by ourselves; we heal in community!

This is the reason why Encounters Counseling and Recovery believes that serving our community and spending time with God and other Encounters current and past clients is paramount to not only recovering but staying in recovery. “Apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).

We strive to help reduce the stigma of mental illness and addiction by having open and honest discussions about mental health, addiction, and co-occurring mental health and addiction to help keep the community informed.

Healing Through Scripture Painting Event   The potter and the Clay Event 

Our IOP group went out this morning and volunteered with Cup of Hope ministry outreach. Our time spent was rich and beneficial in serving others. Encounters Counseling and Recovery is committed to serving the Las Vegas Community in any way we can.
